Dr. Loredana Filip
Loredana earned her PhD in American literature and cultural studies from LMU Munich. Her research blends literary studies, environmental humanities, and affect theory, exploring how everyday reading shapes our ecological and emotional imagination. She is the author of Self-Help in the Digital Age (De Gruyter, 2024), and her work has appeared in COPAS, Medical Humanities, and several edited collections.
In recent years, she has also ventured into creative writing and self-publishing, including nonfiction workbooks, literary fiction, and children’s books under the pen name Laurel Dunn. Originally from Romania, she now lives between Nuremberg and the forest with her family and five-year-old daughter, playing in the garden and imagining stories together.
